Frequently Asked Questions

The policy here at the GlamourModels Message Board:

This message board was set up to give models and photographers looking for models an uncluttered place to discuss issues, jobs, ideas, and other interests. You must use a name to post. Feel free to be candid with your messages, ideas, and questions. However, spamming, slamming and flaming will not be tolerated, nor will obscene posts relating to x-rated work.
Common courtesy is expected here:

  • If you are posting a message about another message board, or modeling site,
        that message board or site should have a link back to GlamourModels.

  • You MUST use your name to post.
  • Posts looking for models without a photo or sample website will be subject to deletion.
  • No 'vote for me' posts unless you are listed on this site, or a regular contributor, please.
  • No copy & paste commercial messages that have been posted on other forums.
  • No posts relating to x-rated work or escort services.
  • Photos must be tasteful. (Playboy style limits, please)
  • No links to web sites containing hard core images.
  • Commercial/corporate type posts are limited to one per week.
  • Spamming, name-calling, slamming and flaming will not be tolerated.
  • Message subjects in ALL CAPS will be deleted.
  • If you are looking for models, or you and/or your website is selling something,
        you may be publicly called upon to verify information in your post and your legitimacy.
  • Un-professional or insulting posts may be deleted at the discretion of the administrators.
  • Anyone found to be emailing threatening or hateful messages to forum posters
        will be banned from posting here.
  • No posts? No pot shots.
  • By posting your message you accept the above terms.

  • Any posted web site must be compatible with all major browsers.

    • How do I add images to my posts?

    To add an image to your post you must first have your image on a server (or web space) somewhere where it can be accessed from the internet. You are simply linking to an image by entering the URL to the image in the space provided when you post a message. Like this example:

    Always double-check!
    Remember that the path and image name are case senstive, so capitalization, or lack of it, counts. When you post an image here, if you have entered the path to the image properly, the image will show up on the preview page. This way you can make sure you've entered the name and path correctly before you actually post your message.

    Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?

    Yes. You can use HTML tags in the body of the message only.

    Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?

    Colons appear in the message dialog box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document.

    Why didn't my post show up?

    Your post most likely did not show up for YOU because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please 'reload' the main page with your browser and it should then appear. That is, of course, unless your message was deleted for not following the guidelines.

    Where can I get the scripts for this program?

    The original forum script was written in Perl and created by Matt Wright. He has many perl scripts free to anyone who wishes to use them. You can get the script that this forum was based on, as well as other scripts, at http://scriptarchive.com
